SALON POLICIES

In these Salon Policies, references to ‘I’ or ‘me’ refer to Cheltenham Gloss.

Cancellation Policy

Cheltenham Gloss is run by me - and only me - and if I don't work, I don't get paid.  When a client doesn't show for their appointment without prior notice, I am unable to fill the space and so am out of pocket.

Over time, the no-show situation has become such that I enforce this Cancellation Policy without exception to protect me, my business and my clients; as follows:

More than 24 hours' notice - NO CHARGE

Cancellation on the day of appointment - 50% of your booked service

No show without prior received notice - 100% of your booked service

Cancellation charges must be settled before you can rebook.

Children in the Salon

I like to think that Cheltenham Gloss is a little haven of tranquility, where all of my attention is focused on you; my treasured client.

It is also a den of chemical potions, electrical sockets and sharp implements!

So with regret, I must advise you that Cheltenham Gloss is a kids-under-the-age-of-10-free zone.  Furthermore, my insurance company know this too, so please do not ask me to invalidate my cover.

Late Arrivals

I am blessed to be busy with a full book of clients and in order for me to provide a smooth and efficient service, please do your best to arrive on time.  Stuff and traffic happen - of course they do - so if you think you are going to be running late, please call/text and let me know.

Late arrivals affect my schedule and may limit what can be achieved in your remaining time and I will NOT run over into another client's appointment.

At 10 minutes past your appointment time, I will call you to check that all is well and that you are in the vicinity.

If you are 15 or more minutes late, I will not have sufficient time to safely and expertly fulfil your appointment and will be unable to see you, but you will be charged 50% of your booked service.

Sickness

If you are unfortunate enough to come down with a stomach bug, please let me know so that I can rearrange your appointment for you.

NHS Guidelines state that you should stay at home for 48 hours after the last of your symptoms have passed.

If you have a mild cough/cold, I am happy to see you but I will ask you to wear a mask to minimise those pesky germs.

If I have succumbed to a cough/cold, I will call and let you know; giving you the opportunity to rearrange your appointment to when I am fighting fit.

I reserve the right to cancel your appointment without notice if I feel that you are too poorly for me to see you.

Payment

I accept cash and all major credit and debit cards.
